The accommodation and transport arranged for our trip met our expectations and sometimes beyond that.
What blown me away and impressed massively that she took all my queries (big, small, important, silly....all type) very professionally and seriously. She even put the effort to check on our Kerala trip regularly.
I am very impressed with the assistance and service she and her colleagues at Quick-o-city provided.

  We took a full day tour of Kolkata and were disappointed with the quality of our tour guide. Our guide Shekar acted more as a chaperone than a professional travel... read more guide. Though he was a sweet and kind person, he was not at all prepared to give this tour because at each tourist location he knew almost nothing about the site
So personally it felt like the trip was not worth the money because we could have nearly replicated the experience without a tour guide.

Here’s how it all went:
When we first met our guide, Shekar, he asked us where we were going - this was baffling to us because
1. he’s the tour guide and
2. the website we used to book the tour listed an itinerary
So then he suggested a couple of places to visit and then took inputs from us, including Mother Theresa’s home. The irony of this suggestion was that Shekar never intended to take us to Mother Theresa’s Home even though we later discovered that it was already on our itinerary.

Our first stop was Mother Theresa’s home - and Shekar knew nothing about her. He only told us to go inside and read the signs in the museum. Then we went to the Kali temple - Shekar hadn’t expected there to be a large line, so we didn’t enter the building (if he had been prepared, we would have visited the temple first thing).
Then we went to the Victoria Memorial. Shekar shared that “it was built to remember Queen Victoria”, and then literally said nothing else about the monument. So my wife and I had to look up the history of the memorial on Wikipedia. Shekar then said we didn’t have enough time to go inside the building even thought it was only our second place we visited. We would have liked to go inside the building.

Following this we went to the Magen David Synagogue, which Shekar also knew nothing about. Shekar thought that Jews and Parsis were almost the same people. I’m not going to give the average person a hard time about this, but he’s a tour guide, he should at least have a little understanding of the two cultures.

Then we went to the Tagore house. Originally Shekar hadn’t planned to go inside, which was silly, so we insisted on going in. Then Shekar demonstrated that he knew very little about Tagore by merely pointing at different pictures and reciting what was already on the captions.

We were really disappointed by the tour. I don’t know if other guides are like this, but I probably would not book with this company again.
